Visionary Planning

Equip disciple-makers. Transform your community.

Visionary Planning is designed to help you and your leadership team craft a clear and shared mission, develop effective disciple-making strategies, and create a concrete plan to turn your vision into reality.

Planning Process

This immersive, three-year process provides focused time onsite over several weekends, facilitated by our experienced team. This immersive experience allows your leadership to collaborate, problem-solve, and build consensus around your church's future. The program is further bolstered by ongoing coaching to ensure successful implementation of your vision.

Weekend Workshops

We offer the core elements of Visionary Planning in focused weekend workshops, followed by short-term coaching. These workshops provide valuable insights and kickstart the planning process, leaving you empowered to continue crafting your vision.

  • We customize the cost based on each situation. Every leader and church receives a discount because of our donors. Then we work with denominational and outside funders to support those we serve. Third, we make each penny stretch as far as it can!

  • While we don’t believe there are any “silver bullets” out there, we can say the leaders and churches we work with experience growth in multiple ways. That growth sometimes takes the shape of increasing numbers and attendance. Other times, the growth is experienced in clarity, unity, and confidence.

  • We will help you choose a “Vision Team” who will work with one of our navigators through the process. Typically, this team is made up of 6 to 12 team members but we’ve worked with teams as small as 4.

  • Partnering with Vision Partners has been a great experience and boost for our leadership team and church. While we are still in the early stages of implementation of the Vision, our church has been most encouraged and receptive to what we have discovered. Going through this process was a breath of fresh air. Another set of eyes to see what we were unable to see proved to be the catalyst for moving forward in hope. Our church has been and continues to Journey Together Toward Hope.

  • I was expecting a cookie cutter model and system that would turn our church into a church that would look like every other church they were working with. Instead, it was evident from the first meeting that the Vision Partners were intent on letting the Holy Spirit direct the vision for NHCC. They patiently worked with our team, as we struggled some and pondered some, and as we worked through the lessons with their guidance. What emerged was a beautiful, God crafted image of our church that represented our location, our strength and our people.

  • It is tethering us - grounding us. It is helpful to all of us and keeps us on the same page. When someone asks us about our church we can speak confidently about what we are doing. Every church, regardless of size, would be helped by this process. It is well worth it. It will help anybody.

  • We actually came away from this with a plan of how to move forward with things God has for us to do in the upcoming year as well as a vision for where God is leading ust to be in three years. This year has been energizing and inspiring for me personally. I am more excited about our future even as we face our present challenges. God has led us through this past year fora reason and He is not done with us yet.
